Buenos Aires

(Buenos Aires, Argentina, 22-24st of November 2017)

Buenos Aires was a really nice place! (And for us, getting a little homesick after two months travel, it was like being in a European city…!)

After visiting so many smaller towns with very few restaurants and a feeling of being left all alone in the middle of nowhere we really enjoyed being back in a city like Buenos Aires.

“Madres de plaza de Mayo” who has protested every week at the same place since 1977. (Google it to find out more…)

We visited the grave of Eva Peron.

One highlight was a visit to a really colourful part of Buenos Aires, called Boca. We took a guided tour and got see all this fantastic part of town had to offer.

Boca Juniors, one of Buenos Aires football teams, got their yellow and blue colours from their manager who said that they should take the colours of the flag of the next ship entering the harbour….and it was a Swedish ship….
