Arequipa – here we go again.

                                                                                                                                                              (Arequipa, Peru 30-31:th of October 2017)

After being in the middle of nowhere just outside Arequipa we decided to move in to town and we ended up in a very nice hotel in the city center with a stunning view from the breakfast restaurant at the roof.

We went on a free walking tour and also visited the house of Juanita – a fascinating story about the well preserved body of a young girl being found up in the mountains. She had been offered by her tribe to please the gods. Her remains was on display just as she was found up in the mountains.

We also went on a walking tour and visited a handicraft place and some great sights.
