Djuki Mala!!
(Adelaide, Australia, 19th of February 2017)
A lazy morning as we took advantage of our luxurious (and expensive!) hotel room to the maximum. The 11 we were supposed to check out and so we did. We went back to Fullarton Motor Lodge to use the offer of a free night because of their mistake not being able to give us a room when we came back from Alice Springs. We checked in and unpacked.
In the evening we had booked a show at Adelaide Fringe – Djuki Mala. On the way there we went to a restaurant where we had schnitzel and some beers. Mega portions!
Djuki Mala was a show with five boys of Aboriginal origin who gave us a show with inspiration from all corners of the world. We saw Zorba dance, Indian dance, Michael Jackson dance etc. Between the songs, they told us the story behind these five guys who initially just wanted to dance. Very humorous, interesting and fun!
