Kings Canyon – beautiful!
(The Outback, Australia, 15th of February 2017)
Also this morning, the had to wake up at 04.00 but now we had time to have breakfast before we left. Today’s goal was Kings Canyon, Another large rock in the middle of nowhere. We did not really know much about Kings Canyon but it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. John was feeling better now and chose to join today’s hike. This walk was so beautiful!! Kings Canyon was better than both Uluru and Kata Tjuta in aesthetic experiences.
Satisfied and happy we set off back towards Alice Springs. On the way we stopped at a camel farm. Me and Manon rode a ride on a camel after finding that they looked happy and satisfied and that the pasture (rather park) they lived in was extremely large.
We were back in Alice Springs at five o’clock and we had time for a swim in the pool at our fun backpacker hotel before it was time for a final dinner with our adventure group at the Rockbar.
