Making friends in a hotel in Varanasi!

At breakfast time the first day in Varanasi we met a lot of nice westerners. The hotel is built around a courtyard where breakfast and meals are served – apparently a good place for socializing.

Fritz and Ursula who we met at the hotel have visited many countries and we had great joy from hearing their stories from their trips around the world. Adi and her husband, another couple also staying at the hotel, were from Israel, and they really think that India is a tough country to travel in, especially as they both have major problems with eating spicy food.
